We are excited to announce that Prospect School will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, 27 September 2024, from 10:45 to 12:00. As part of The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, this event brings our community together in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to fund their essential work with people affected by cancer.
Why Your Support Matters
Macmillan Cancer Support helps thousands of individuals and families every day, providing practical, emotional, and financial assistance to those living with cancer. Whether through providing expert nurses or a friendly face to talk to, Macmillan plays a crucial role in making sure that no one has to face cancer alone.
This year, Macmillan Coffee Mornings across the country are raising vital funds to continue offering these life-changing services. Every pound raised helps Macmillan provide the care and comfort that people need during one of life’s most difficult challenges.
What to Expect
At Prospect School’s Coffee Morning, you will find a warm welcome, delicious homemade cakes, tea, coffee and a chance to contribute to an incredible charity. There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes, giving you even more opportunities to support the cause.
Whether you are a baker, a coffee lover, or simply someone who wants to help, we encourage everyone to come along and make a difference.
How You Can Help
- Donate: All proceeds will be shared between Macmillan Cancer Support and Prospect School’s Student Fund, which supports activities and resources for our students. Your donations will not only help those facing cancer, but also benefit the students at our school.
- Bake: We welcome contributions of homemade cakes and bakes. If you would like to donate your baking skills, please get in touch with the school office.
- Spread the Word: Invite family, friends and neighbours to join us for this special morning. The more people involved, the more we can raise for Macmillan’s vital work.
