“They say life begins at 40, and this year, I am embracing this sentiment by taking on a thrilling and meaningful challenge. As I approach this milestone birthday, I have made a bold decision to participate in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy event. Not only will I celebrate my special day in an unconventional way, but I will also be raising funds for Cancer Research UK, an organisation dedicated to saving lives and making groundbreaking strides in the fight against cancer.

Why I’m Taking on the Challenge

“Cancer is a disease that affects so many lives, and it’s time we join forces to make a difference. The statistics are staggering: 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This reality fuels my determination to support Cancer Research UK and contribute to their vital work. By participating in the Pretty Muddy race, I hope to raise both awareness and funds to support ongoing research, innovative treatments, and ultimately, the lives of those affected by cancer.
